Ian E. Welch is the Managing Director of PCS Nitrogen Trinidad Limited, which owns and operates the largest petrochemical manufacturing complex in Trinidad, and one of the largest in the world. At its Point Lisas site, the Company operates four ammonia plants and one urea plant. PCS Trinidad is an integral part of the global player, PotashCorp which is the largest integrated fertilizer manufacturer in the world.

In addition to his position of Managing Director at PCS, Mr. Welch is Chairman of the Point Lisas Energy Association of CEOs (PLEA), Immediate Past President of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry & Commerce, Commissioner at the Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago, Commissioner at the Regulated Industries Commission, member of the Board of Governors at the University of Trinidad and Tobago, and serves on other Boards both locally and internationally. He also chaired the Local Organizing Committee of ICC World Cup Cricket in 2007.

Mr. Welch is a graduate of the University of Windsor, Canada and the Executive Development Program at Columbia University. He is married and the father of two girls.
